Summary

Muhammad B. Akbar (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in avionics engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2003, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He is a Visiting Faculty with NUST and also working as a Consultant for industry on wireless technology. He has reviewed numerous papers on RFID-based technology and applications for well known IEEE journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, the IEEE Journal of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), IEEE International Conference on RFID, and IEEE International Conference on RFID-TA. His research interests include radars, antennas, radiolocation, backscatter radios, RF transceiver design, and applied electromagnetics.
