An Aerospace Engineer by profession having more than 25 years of service. Graduated from NUST with BE Aerospace Engineering in Sep 2000. Worked on Mirage aircraft as O & I level maintenance supervisor. Associated with teaching and R&D since 2007. Completed MS (Air University-2010) and PhD (NUST-2022). Trained by QinetiQ, UK for Computational Fluid Dynamics of aerial vehicle spin and stall characteristics. Trained by Univerity of California (Irvine), USA for Wind Tunnel Balance design, fabrication, calibration and testing. Taught Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses of Mechanics (Statics and Dynamics), Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Gas Dynamics, Flight Dynamics, CFD , Wind Tunnel Testing and Vibrations. Published research in more than 25 impact factor journals and 30+ conferences. Currently involved in teaching of Feedback Control Systems and Flight Dynamics & Control to Aerospace Engineering students of CAE, NUST. Active research domains are flapping wing aerodynamics (analytical, computational and experimental design of flapping mechnaism), flight dynamic modeling of aerial platforms using wind tunnel testing, CFD involving Shock-to-shock (S2S) interactions, shock-BL interactions and rotor-dynamics.
